Sorry for the slow reply, was doing a bit of spider removal.
Viewing angles on most IPS panels should be around 178 degrees. One thing to consider is, are you going to be looking at it from an unusual angle? Most people I know look at monitors from the front! :D
Only direction you'll notice real degradation in picture quality on an IPS is vertically and that won't be an issue, unless you're freakishly tall and you like your monitor at your ankles.
I used to worry a lot about similar things but once I'd researched it realised that there doesn't seem to be a huge amount of difference until you start spending lots and lots of money, and at that point it'll be past the stage of diminishing returns for average computer users.

I thought there was a discussion back when Apple was switching to Intel about having stickers.
Intel and others pay the computer company to have the sticker placed on the machine as part of the marketing.
Obviously, Apple took a pass...

Not yesterday morning it didn't. They do update their news so I'm sure they have it right by now.

Traditional values? Like bigotry, demonizing, beatings, lynchings? Some traditions have little value.

User reputation systems are a sure-fire route to turning your community into the echelons of histrionics. Accuracy, trustworthiness and reputability are, I've observed in other sites introducing rep systems, usurped by hackneyed humour and textual displays of crowd-pleasing. There is always an exception, and user rep systems used correctly would be excellent forms of self-regulation, but it is quite a risk to take.

It is always unlocked, even after I've explicitly clicked the lock to lock it , after I re-open System Preferences it still remains unlocked.
I do not do any type of sharing with any computer on my network, so why does that lock gets unlocked by it self?
Im thinking it's normal and there;s nothing to worry about but how do I make the lock stay locked
Also, I've noticed that after you've unlocked something if you don't click the lock to lock it .. it remains open, even after reboot. So, if I forget to lock the lock anyone with access to my computer(physically and over the internet) can change settings that require administrator privilege. Is there a way to rectify this? Or just remember to lock the lock? lol

Hello all, quick question for those who use folder enhancer. I am currently JB'ed at 4.3.2 iPhone 4 (AT&T). Every time I update an app through Apple's App Store, it goes through the normal "Loading" then "installing"'then the progress bar goes to the end but never finishes and the only way for me to get it installed is to reboot my phone. Once the phone is rebooted, the app is out of the folder and on the next page by itself. Anyone running into this?

I have a 320GB hard drive in my MBP and somehow I only have about ~20GB of storage left. I only have like 100 songs on here. No DVDs, bluray rips, tv shows or anything like that. I do produce videos for youtube but they generally only go up to 1GB in size, no way they'd crunch through 320GB of memory that fast.
Is there any way I can see how much memory my programs and files are taking up on my hard drive so I can clean it up?

It pays to have an extra set of nunchuks. So far, no problems.
I'm too lazy to test my old nunchuk with other games (all I have are Zelda and Wii Sports) to see if I have a Madden problem or a nunchuk problem, so I'm not sure I have cause to go to Nintendo and ask for a replacement nunchuk...

Hey guys, so i've noticed that other computer forums have kind of a marketplace area of their forums. I thought this would be pretty cool if there was one on Macrumors, but I looked around and couldn't find one (if there is one I apologize for making this thread) so I thought i'd suggest it.
Also I wasn't sure exactly where to post this thread so if a mod feels like there is a better place for this posting you're welcome to move it there.
Thanks.
