Calvin and Hobbes Private Investigations

Francesco Francavilla captures the spirit of Bill Watterson and Calvin and Hobbes better than any other tribute I've seen. I look forward to his future adventures on Pulp Sunday. (Via Comic Twart)

Calvin And Hobbesosaurus

Bill Waterson's original Calvin and Hobbes concept, with Hobbes as a dinosaur proved a little too violent for the comics page. (CALVIN & HOBBES by Chris Samnee)

Cowboys, Tigers and Bears

"How it would be before the popular children's books, movies and comic strips. Before the Andy, Calvin and Christopher Robins. Were these guys just three dudes that hung out and caused trouble."

kizer180 shows us what that might have looked like. Seems like Hobbes is the only one who kept his troublemaking nature.

You've Entered The Watterson Zone

Submitted for your approval... The Watterson Zone, Timothy Lim (ninjaink) and Mark Pellegrini's dead-on mashup of Calvin and Hobbes and The Twilight Zone episode It's a Good Life. (Winner of Super Punch's Calvin and Hobbes art contest. Link via Debonair Deal'z)

Calvin, Hobbes And The Masters of the Universe

By the Power of Grayskull, I have transmogrified! I'm a sucker for a Calvin and Hobbes parody and I think Hobbes would make a fine Battle Cat.

Joker And Lex Luthor Vs. Calvin And Hobbes

A homage to Bill Waterson's Calvin and Hobbes from comic artists Brian Azzarello and Lee Bermejo in Superman/Batman #75. Much like Calvin doesn't see the brilliance of Hobbes' suggestions, Luthor just doesn't get the Joker. Heaven help us if either of them got ahold of a Transmogrifier. Cal Solo and Hobbesbacca

The Kessel Run: Han and Chewie never said *when* they did it. Pop artist James Hance is proposing making this (which is just 'a doodle') a twice-weekly comic.

Please tell him you want to see this - I need it.
