She made it clear before she left for her world travels that she would be making plenty of visits home to see the British funnyman.
The pop star says that her husband is the top of her priority list and she has even begun to feel a connection with British fans because of him.
Affectionate: Katy appeared with husband Russell Brand earlier in the week at the London premiere of his film Arthur where Russell got playful and firmly grabbed his wife's behind
'My husband is my number one priority. We have an amazing relationship', she told contactmusic.
She says Brand, who she married in India last October, is also teaching her some of the popular phrases and slang used in the UK.
'Russell's teaching me British slang and phrases now. I say, "I'm dining out on that one mate" and say "bin" instead of trash and "holiday" instead of "vacation".
