Enter the Varadero 2009 rumored to be powered by a V4 1200 cc with 120 HP on tap and tipping the scale at 220kg, I would rather have Honda beef up the V-twin to 1200 and introduce a shaft a la BMW, while keeping the weight. Whatever Honda decide, I will go with Varadero over any bike out there.

Limited to just 45 bikes, the Fighter features a carbon fiber, titanium, and aluminum chassis, with a 64" wheelbase, integrated braking system, 1966c.c. engine, and a top speed of 190mph. Good luck getting it integrated into your car, though if you have the money to buy this beast, that's probably not going to be a problem.After the Monster 1100 and 1100S, Ducati have now released the GT1000 Touring, which is now a part of their 2009 SportClassic range. The bike will be available in the glossy black paintscheme you see here, with a range of accessories – tall windshield, luggage racks and various chrome-plated bits. Mechanically, the GT1000 Touring is no different from the regular GT1000, which will, of course, still be a part of the 2009 Ducati lineup. The bike looks are kind of odd, WTF the rear is too elevated looks like a cross breed of MX and monster, I don’t see the touring side of the bike, this is one Fugly Duke Dude!!!!
Aprilia unveiled today a complete technical specifications for the superbike or RSV 4. Thus Aprilia RSV4 in the street version will have a maximum power of 180hp at 12,500 rpm that a torque of 115 Nm at 10,000 rpm while its own mass will be 179kg. Taking into account that the reservoir is 17 liters, most likely net weight will exceed 200kg

The age of the automatic motorcycle is upon us, Yuck. Aprilia got the ball rolling with the 850 Mana and Honda is finally set to introduce its DN-01 in the U.S. Both of these bikes use a shift-free transmission like a scooter but have motorcycle-like controls and looks along with a riding position not found on any scooter, regardless of engine size. Still these machine blur the lines between the largest of the maxi-scooters and motorcycles even further. In any case, the DN-01 for 2009 is powered by a 680cc V-Twin engine with 61 horsepower and is available in Candy Dark Red or Black for a steep $14,599. What pay this much for a Moped, no way!. However it seems that the sales of Scooter skyrocket by 66% in the US over the past 2 years, no wonder Honda introduced the DN-01 in the US.
The much rumoured, awaited and anticipated Ducati Monster 1100 is finally here, gorgeous, stunning and sexy. 1100cc v-twin, which makes 95bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.5Kgm of torque at 6,000rpm.
The V4-powered superbike with which Aprilia will go racing in WSBK next year, with Max Biaggi riding the bike.
Aprilia will build two versions of the RSV4 – both of which will be powered by Aprilia’s all-new 65-degree V4 engine. The new V4 is expected to make around 180bhp in street trim (in a package that weighs barely 190kg), while the racing version will pump out around 210-220bhp. Pricing isn’t likely to be for cheap– around US$30,000 for the base model.
A company insider has exclusively revealed that Ducati will be upping the 1098’s capacity to 1198cc for 2009. In keeping with the 1200cc World Superbike v-twin capacity limit, the Ducati 1098R already displaces 1198cc, so we expect to see a version of its engine used in the 2009 Ducati 1198, but in a lower state of tune and using less exotic parts. An educated guess would put the 1198’s power output halfway between the 1098’s 160bhp and the 1098R’s 180bhp. There’s no word on the 1098R’s performance-oriented traction control trickling down to lesser models. But that’s not all Ducati has in store for 2009.
Ducati has confirmed that the 1198 will have 170bhp. While the base 1198 receives a $500 price bump (to $16,495 in the US), the 1198S will remain the same at $20,995 (US). We've also learned that 1198 will be lighter than the outgoing 1098 and may receive a facelift. Link

The result is a gorgeous & fascinating, a one of production bike that found consensus by many Ducatisti.
In designing its new adventurer tourer, Italian manufacturer Moto Guzzi took inspiration from the Stelvio Pass, a winding road featuring 60 hairpin bends snaking its way through the Eastern Alps at an altitude of 9,000 feet. Often used to test the bikes produced from the company’s nearby Mandello del Lario facilities, the legendary road can push the limits of engine response and suspension capacity. It’s significant then that Moto Guzzi decided to name its latest creation after the Passo dello Stelvio. As a tourer, the Stelvio is designed to provide comfort for long rides. The saddle, footrests and handlebar form an ergonomically-friendly triangle to fit most users. The Quattrovalvole also gets an original exhaust sytem with an aluminum silencer. The Stelvio can generate a maximum power of 105 horses at 7500 rpm and 108 Nm torque at 6400 rpm.
The Stelvio 1200 4V is fitted with Moto Guzzi’s 1,151cc, 8-valve, fuel-injected v-twin that has been tweaked and fettled with new internal parts, and now makes 105 horsepower at 7,500rpm. Six-speed transmission, single-sided CARC shaft-drive system, and fully adjustable suspension – 50mm Marzocchi forks and Boge monoshock – complete the package. The Stelvio is priced at $14,900
In comes a sleek and slippery aerodynamically refined fairing, a wide, aggressive snout-mounted air-intake and an all-new, lighter and more powerful 600cc Dual Sequential Fuel-Injected inline four-cylinder engine featuring the smallest dimensions in its class. The motor itself is almost a kilo less than the previous model’s, but the important thing is that the two-stage fuel-injection system and ECU programming give the new CBR much more ‘pull’ in the 7000-10,000 rev-range than the previous model. According to some spy photos that are circulating on the Internet, we know that BMW is working on a smaller sport equipped with an unconventional front , and apparently fitted with a unique three-cylinder engine online.
This motorcycle, which we have also done a photomontage from these spy photos could be a supersport tricilíndrica of around 675 cc and that should see the light at the end of 2009, with intent to reach stores in 2010.

Although by now we do not know much about what BMW is doing, it is highly probable that this autumn will also see the final version the S version in 1000 RR Street (recall that so far we have only seen the racing prepared to attack the World SBK in 2009), a motorcycle long-awaited by fans of the powerful Supercar.
