Where No Pixel Has Gone Before

Can you name all 235 of these pixelated Star Trek characters? I know I can't, but if you are that steeped in Trek you can win a print of this from artist John Martz and Koyama Press. Head to his site for details. (Link via Comics Alliance)

Keeping Up With The Cardassians

I thought I recognized them, but everyone kept spelling it Kardashians and so I was confused. (From T-Shirt Bordello, via Shirtoid)

Can't We Nerds Just Get Along?

Captain RibMan has a dream: "From the sandy hills of Tatooine, let freedom ring; Let freedom ring from the mountains of Mordor; Let freedom ring from the plains of Rigel VII; Let freedom ring from the hallowed halls of Hogwarts. From every tree in Pandora, let freedom ring.

And when this happens, when we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every alien village and every shire, from every castle to every city in the clouds, we will be able to speed up that day when all of The Force’s children—black men and white men and half-black-half-white men from Cheron from that one Trek episode, Muggles and wizards, those who want to believe and the skeptics, Jedi and Sith, Time Lords and Daleks, will be able to join hands and sing the words of the old Ewok spiritual, “Yub nub, yub nub.”

Available on redbubble and for cheap for a couple more hours on TeeFury.

The Trouble with Rogens (And Hills And Farrells)

"[The] image of Kirk with the Tribbles reminded me of the hairstyles Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, and Will Ferell were all sporting a few years back. They are each big Apatow collaborators, and for a minute it seemed like they were also everywhere."

Nerdelicious: Ten Geeky Gingerbread Creations

'Tis the season to break out your inner craft geek. Here a few seasonal concoctions to inspire your own creations. Me, I just eat Turtles. Above, Zero Lives blogger Das Chupa brings us an Angry Birds themed Gingerbread house. I would play that.

A Gingerbread AT-AT. As the card says, that's awesome. As far as I can tell it was made by (or at least photographed by) Chez 282. I first saw it on pacalin's site.

A Gingerbreadhenge, for all you pagans out there, by The Dude (no, not that one.) Found on Clonehenge, which has "the most complete list of Stonehenge replicas on the internet, nay, marry, in the wide world!" I love the internet.

A gingerbread collection on Popped Culture wouldn't be complete without some sort of Super Mario reference. (Super Mario Gingerbread by Mike Bade, via Nerd Bastards)

The Star Trek GingerBorg Enterprise is a gingerbread replica of the Enterprise D. Green splotches indicate that Borgs have taken over and are destroying things with lasers. (By audreyh4 at instructables)

Das Chupa (see Angry Birds above) started his creations with a gingerbread Pac-Man arcade game.

Anna-Maria Oléhn's TARDIS gingerbread house can fit a surprising amount of Christmas treats inside.

And what's a Dr. Who TARDIS without Daleks? They are vegan too, so you know they're truly evil. By Johnson Cameraface.

The gingerboard (gingerbread motherboard) was created in Sweden by Benny, Monica, Anna-Maria and Erik. (Via mediatinker and You Bent My Wookie, who has a great gallery of gingerbread creations)

“I ate his body with some jelly beans and a nice glass of milk thtthththththththth”. I know this gingerbread Hannibal Lecter is only a t-shirt, but somebody ought to make it. (Cannibal by Glennz, via Shirtoid)

Star Poker: Full Meme

I kinda feel for Riker, this would be an annoying group to play poker with. Admiral Akbar yelling "It's a trap!' all the time, Vader and his constant moaning and Picard's smugness. Poor Riker. (Poker Game by Stardamsel)

There Are Four Lights!

Captain Picard is tough and puts up with a lot of shit, there's no doubt, but seriously he just should have said there are five lights and gotten on with it! From Abstruse Goose via the short-lived, now defunct Neatogeek.
