In Your Old-Timey Eyes

The romance of the moment was often broken when you had to stop and wind up the gramophone. (I Love the (Eighteen) 80's by Nathan Stillie at Threadless)

Recessionopoly: Do Not Pas GO, Ever

Looks like times are tough for Rich Uncle Pennybags, he's sold off the car and is out on the street. Still, you'd think he'd be able to stay at Baltic Avenue - that place is a dump. (Recessionopoly by Carlos Rocafort IV at Threadless)

Cute Animals Smoking Cigarettes

C'mon kids, Bambi smokes it and who's cooler (and cuter) than Bambie? Ask a teenager, they'll get some for you. (Cute Animals Smoking Cigarettes by Andy Gonsalves at Threadless)

Pezidents Of The United States

These Pez dispensers are clearly not child friendly, especially the JFK dispenser. I love the George H. Bush dispenser though I'm sure the Japanese Prime Minister didn't find it as cute. (Pezidents Of The United States by Hillary White at Threadless)

This Is Not the Eye Chart You're Looking For

Of course this chart would be very difficult to read, what with it fading off to the to the horizon all the time. (This Is Not the Eye Chart You're Looking For by David Schwen)

I Love It When A Menagerie Comes Together

I can't resist an A-Team parody, and a hyena as "Howling Mad" Murdock is inspired. Vote now for The Animal Team by Bocognani Florent, over at Threadless. (Link via Super Punch)

The Tragedy Of Blinky, Pinky, Inky And Clyde

Executed under the Jacobins Reign of Terror during the French Revolution, Blinky, Pinky, Inky And Clyde would forever haunt their executioner Monsieur Pac-man.

How They Died by Aled Lewis, up for vote at Threadless. (Link via pacalin & gamefreaksnz)

The Tee Which Shall Not Be Named

What better t-shirt to wear to the premier of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows than John Tibbott's The Tee Which Shall Not Be Named? Well, it won't be ready to be worn by November 19 but you still have one day left to vote for this reference-apalooza shirt at Threadless. (Link via Shirtoid)

Arrrgmented Reality

Arr, that code either opens a treasure map or downloads everything piece of data on your phone when you scan it. (Arrrgmented Reality by David Schwen)

Let's do the Time Warp (Again!)

It's astounding, time is fleeting
Madness takes its toll
But listen closely, not for very much longer
I've got to keep control
Some of films most loved time travellers all come together to make me relive every high school dance I ever went to. Next up, Billy Idol singing Mony Mony ending with slow dancing to Stairway to Heaven, except that part near the end where the song speeds up and nobody knows quite what to do. Good times!

Yabba Dabba Dead

Happy 50th anniversary, Flintstones, we wouldn't have The Simpsons without you. But now they're gone — ain't I sentimental? (Mysterious Fossil by Nacho Diaz Arjona, via Shirtoid)

Princess Peach In... Kill Bowser

"Those of you lucky enough to have your lives, take them with you. However, leave the limbs you've lost. They belong to me now."

I love the idea of Princess Peach raging against her captors — who needs saving now? From Eduardo San Gil's Threadless submission She Wants Revenge.

Ronald McDonald Purge

Oh sure, it implies that it was the food from McDonalds that made old Ronald toss it in an alleyway, but I don't think so. I've seen how that clown parties and it looks like he was into the same stuff as the pandas. Damn sanctimonious kid. (Not So Happy by Lora Zombie)
