King Khan will undergo surgery soon

Shah Rukh Khan is back in Mumbai after finishing a 45 day long schedule in US for Karan Johar’s next My Name Is Khan. However, this is no good news. The actor is in the city to get operated on his shoulder. He hurt his shoulder while filming for an action sequence for Dulha Mil Gaya in December.

A source close to actor informs, “He had hurt himself while shooting Dulha…, it was a severe injury, but since he had made a commitment to Karan for the 45 days shoot in US for Karan’s movie, he shrugged off his shoulder surgery that his doctors had advised him to undergo before leaving for LA.”

The source went on to say, “He was on medication when in the US and his pain recurred so he came back to India on Sunday. He has been consulting surgeons here too. Since he wants to get back to filming as soon as possible they have suggested that he undergoes surgery. He is suffering from immense pain in left shoulder and will be operated for the same.”

The actor still decided to attend the launch of his first show on Tuesday evening in Mumbai with his immovable left shoulder. He arrived covering his left shoulder in a red and black scarf. He complains of shoulder ache when he laughs. But he managed to hide his pain during the launch and he was his usual best with his witty remarks. He also mentioned: “I have returned to India for a compulsory long break. I have been advised to rest for at least 8 to 9 weeks.”

SRK had previously undergone back surgery in London in the year 2003 and before that in 2000 the actor went through a knee surgery. This time he is expected to do his surgery in Mumbai as traveling is impossible for him. The date and day of the surgery is not yet decided.
