Eat Pray Love

Liz Gilbert had everything a modern woman is supposed to dream of having - a husband, a house, a successful career - yet like so many others, she found herself lost, confused, and searching for what she really wanted in life. Newly divorced and at a crossroads, Gilbert steps out of her comfort zone, risking everything to change her life, embarking on a journey around the world that becomes a quest for self-discovery. In her travels, she discovers the true pleasure of nourishment by eating in Italy; the power of prayer in India, and, finally and unexpectedly, the inner peace and balance of true love in Bali.

Do you know how many times I have picked up this book to buy only to put it back down again thinking 'Will I like this story? Or am I just going to buy it for all the hype with Oprah and other TV shows!'
Today I went to see the movie with a dear friend and can i just say I did not want the story to end, I could have just stayed there all day watching Liz Gilbert's story unravel.  WOW!! I was impressed and love d the story so much. I know books and movies can be so different..........what can I say I am just going to have to buy the book.

I felt joy, inspiration and shed a few tears and very uplifted after walking out. My friend and I chatted all the way home and we both shed tears about our lives and how we can make them better and thought of ways we could find ourselves all over again.

If you have read the book or seen the movie or both, I would love to hear your thoughts please!!
