Pokemon Fight Club

"The first rule of Poke-Fight Club is you do not talk about Poke-Fight Club. I guess Pikachu just wanted to destroy something beautiful." (By Kevin Bolk)

Sesame Street Fight Club

Only two guys to a fight. One fight at a time. I can just imagine Bert and Ernie beating the stuffing out of each other. (Lover's Quarrel by marinsstudio; link via pacalin)

Pop Culture Last Supper

Dave MacDowell once again makes my brain hurt with his pop culture-stuffed paintings, this time a Popped Culture favourite, the Last Supper. Is that Robert Redford's The Candidate as Judas and Olivia Newton-John's Sandy as the apostle John, (or Mary Magdelene)?

The rest, from the left: Optimus Prime, Chewbacca, Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette from True Romance, Johnny Depp from 21 Jump Street, Brad Pitt from Fight Club, Andy Wharol, Cornelius from Planet of the Apes and Hong Kong Phooey. Not sure who is on the far right. Anyone?

Movie In Haiku

Fight Club Haiku
Soap begins it all.
Starts underground following.
Soap to end it all.

A Clockwork Orange Haiku
Violent, troubled.
Goes too far one night. Caught, changed?
I was cured all right.

Pulp Fiction Haiku
Quoting from scripture.
Calling on the wolf for help
It's royale with cheese.

Movies in Haiku is the brainchild of Toronto's Hugh Elliott. See more haiku typography at his Etsy shop and more movie haikus at his Twitter account. (Thanks to Amber Mac for the tip)

Monkey Knife Fight Club

"If this is your first time at Monkey Knife Fight Club, you have to fight."

I love the idea that a bunch of bored superheros pit Blip and Gleek, two otherwise pointless monkeys, against each other. What else do they have to do all day anyway. What will be really scary is when thy move on to Project Mayhem.
