Yes, I have experienced this. In my case, it happened to all the slides that had grouped graphics. When I ungrouped them it worked fine.
I don't know if this is the case with you, but that was my experience.

Great, now how about some UE3 support for Mac OS X?
Guessing we'll have to wait till UE4.

I've made up my mind, I'm going to switch after the new G5's come out. I have a couple of questions.
1. I do a lot of work with Oracle, and one of the windows programs I use is TOAD, which in unavailable on a Mac. Does anyone have experience running this in VPC?
2. I also have to connect to customers using a handful of different VPN clients (Nortel, Aventail, and CheckPoint). I plan on keeping my Windows laptop around for this, but am curious if any one has been able to make these kinds of connections through VPC.
Thanks!

I've got an Ibanez RG electric guitar I bought a while ago and I want to sell it, its in mint condition and has an Ibanez temelo (its just like a floyd, but it stays in tune better) and I've got a nice Ibanez hardcase for it. I just put new strings on it as well. I'm looking to sell it so I can buy either an acoustic bass or a small acoustic guitar because I dont really like the electric guitar as much as bass or acoustic. I'll post pics soon. I'm looking for around $200 or best offer

Every Friday, Engadgetmobile.com posts the most recent FCC filings for wireless phones. Until something like an iPhone comes through the FCC, it won't happen in the United States. I imagine that other countries have similar regulatory comittees with similar public filings. Wanna find the iPhone? Keep your eyes peeled there.
Consequently, I'm not sure how His Steveness will be able to keep this thing a secret since FCC filings are public. Most likely, it'll be filed under Apple, and we'll all know about it before it's formally introduced. Or else it'll be filed under the name of another manufacturer, in an attempt to keep it secret. Either way, anyone watching the FCC filings like a hawk should be able to spot anything even remotely Appleish in terms of it's design aesthetic.

They need an app that is native on the iPad. I hate that x2 garbage and usually end up deleting them.

I've tried all the ones you listed and liked them alot. Picking a lockscreen is really dependant on your mood, I guess. You have about 10,000 lockscreens out there so you can find one that fits your liking. I only have about 200 of them :D but I find myself liking the minimalist approach (at least for now) in terms of lockscreens. The HTC Animated one is nice since, well, it moves. I'm changing my LS about once a week so it all depends on what I'm feeling at the moment :)

Yeah, I thought that was amazing. I'm not sure how well it goes with his work though - I was expecting interesting cutting-edge work, not bland corporate stuff. But, yes, a great site.
http://www.thibaud.be/ is also an excellent portfolio site.

I was wondering if anyone could help out a panicking female here. I've recently discovered two cracks in the plastic of my Macbook.
The first one is near the hinge. A tiny, hairline crack-

What makes it more worrying is this crack round the other side-
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e101/geezabird/crack2-front.jpg
I purchased my MacBook in September 2010 so it's still under my year warranty and I purchased the three year extended warranty as well (what with the student discount I couldn't really say no). It's the smallest, 13.3" MacBook. I have never dropped it and it's never had any knocks or bumps so the fact that these have appeared is rather worrying.
I was wondering if this is just cosmetic damage or if I should get it looked at. I'm worried the more I open and close my macbook, the bigger the crack by the hinge will get and possibly cause some serious damage. Also will the warranty cover this? To someone who doesn't know, the cracks make it look like I've accidentally dropped my MacBook meaning they're my fault.
Thanks in advance for any help

Now that Apple has took off the 15 inch display off thier site, when can we expect upgrades to the display line? I don't think we will have to wait till Macworld, I think we can expect them very soon. My thinking is that with new displays, Apple could boost sales for Christmas, making the displays more attractive looking, and of course cutting prices and releasing a 19 inch. This is what I think:
17 inch - $699
19 inch - $1199
23 inch - $3199
I think those prices are fare. What do you guys think?

I know this is a sensitive issue, but when a paper like the Daily Mail runs a story, its news.
You're not from the UK, are you? :)

Is there a simple shortcut or macro in Apple Mail to simplify the HTML tag for linking to a different web page? In other words, instead of clicking on:
http://www.macrumors.com
...I could hide it under "Click HERE" and the HERE would underline and light-up when you hovered over it? If there's not, that would be a good thing to add to Mail in the future.
(Sorry, but I'm just learning HTML...)

Video only needs about 700KB a sec bandwidth when it come to a typical modern DVD rip to avi or h.264 unless it's HD but even then it's maybe 2-3MB/sec.
Most of the 720p h264 media on the web is upward of 4MB/s (due to scene rules), with an extra 640/768/1536KB/s for audio. So the bitrate can easily reach around double what you're suggesting.

...From an article on the crash. It looks like the bus did have seat belts, but I guess not everyone was wearing them.
I saw another article where it said a bunch of them were flung to the front of the bus at impact. That's why I assumed there was no belts. Obviously there were, but people didn't wear them. I haven't seen many buses with them, so it must be a new thing. Regardless, it should be the law. That's just senseless loss of life.
