Estella Warren's felony arrest. Actress and model Estella Warren is in some seriously hot water. The ‘Planet of the Apes’ actress was arrested late Monday night in L.A. on suspicion of DUI, hit and run, assault, and felony escape.
According to TMZ, a police officer witnessed Warren slam a Toyota Prius into three parked cars and drive away. After she was pulled over, she reportedly resisted arrest and kicked a police officer.

To make matters even worse, while being booked at the police station, she managed to free herself from handcuffs and attempted to run out the back door before being taken into custody once again.

She was really hammered,” a police source told TMZ.
Warren, a top Canadian synchronized swimmer, has appeared in several films and television shows, including ‘Planet of the Apes’ and ‘Kangaroo Jack.’ She has also modeled for Sports Illustrated, Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Chanel, according to IMDB.

She also in landed the No. 1 spot on Maxim’s ‘Hot 100′ list in 2000.

Actress/model Estella Warren is in jail right now, according to TMZ, after what is likely one of the better celebrity arrest stories you'll read about for awhile.

Warren allegedly slammed into three cars, while drunk, then took off, only to be arrested later ... then kicked a cop and escaped from the police station!

The crazy incident occurred last night just before midnight.
Police say Warren was driving in L.A. when she struck three parked cars in her Toyota Prius. Warren drove away but cops found and arrested her for DUI.

Not before she resisted and kicked an officer, of course.

Warren was taken to the police station in handcuffs, and during the booking process she managed to get out of her handcuffs and run out the door!


Warren was quickly recaptured and is now being booked for felony escape as well as for assault, hit and run and DUI. Not a good night for her.

As one law enforcement source put it, "She was really hammered." We would sure hope so, although we don't expect that'll play well as an excuse.
